Terms of Service

Effective Date: March 24, 2026

1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using the Verifield digital notary platform, mobile application, APIs, or SDKs (collectively, the "Services"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you are entering into these Terms on behalf of a company or other legal entity, you represent that you have the authority to bind such entity to these Terms.

2. Description of Service

Verifield provides secure metadata capture and cryptographic verification for field data. We do not guarantee the structural integrity or absolute truth of the physical subjects being captured, but we cryptographically guarantee that the visual data captured through our proprietary systems occurred at a specific time, place, and orientation.

3. Acceptable Use Policy

You agree not to misuse the Verifield Services. For example, you must not, and must not attempt to:

  • Reverse-engineer, decompile, decrypt, or otherwise tamper with the hashing algorithms and anti-spoofing logic integrated within the Verifield SDK.
  • Submit artificially generated, synthetic, or mechanically altered visual media directly to the Verification API outside of the controlled Verifield environment.
  • Utilize the Service to facilitate unlawful acts, fraud, or intentional misrepresentation of material facts.

4. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, in no event shall Verifield, its affiliates, agents, directors, or employees, be liable for any indirect, punitive, incidental, special, consequential, or exemplary damages, including without limitation damages for loss of profits, goodwill, use, data, or other intangible losses, arising out of or relating to the use of, or inability to use, this service.

5. Modifications

We reserve the right, at our sole discretion, to modify or replace these Terms at any time. We will provide reasonable advance notice of any material changes via email or system alerts.
