Use of Service

Verifield provides a platform for capturing, verifying, managing, and sharing field work evidence. You agree to use the Service only for lawful purposes and in accordance with these Terms. You are responsible for ensuring that your use of the Service complies with all applicable local, state, national, and international laws.

Accounts/Organizations

You must provide accurate and complete information when creating an account. If you create an account on behalf of a company or organization, you represent and warrant that you have the authority to bind that entity to these Terms. The organization is ultimately responsible for all activity occurring under its accounts and for managing the access of its end-users.

Customer Responsibilities

You are responsible for safeguarding your account credentials and for all activities that occur under your account. You must notify Verifield immediately upon becoming aware of any breach of security or unauthorized use of your account.

Evidence/Content

You retain all ownership rights to the photos, notes, and field evidence you capture using Verifield. By using the Service, you grant us a worldwide, royalty-free license to host, store, process, and transmit your content solely for the purpose of providing the Service to you. While we cryptographically sign metadata to prove authenticity, Verifield is not responsible for the actual visual contents of the photos you capture.

Acceptable Use

You agree not to use the Service to capture or distribute illicit, illegal, or infringing content. Furthermore, you will not attempt to reverse engineer the application, tamper with our cryptographic verification and timestamping mechanisms, introduce malicious code, or bypass any security features of the Service.

Payments/Subscriptions

Verifield is offered on a subscription basis. You will be billed in advance on a recurring schedule (monthly or annually) depending on your selected plan. All fees are non-refundable except as required by law or as explicitly stated in our refund policy. We reserve the right to change our pricing with prior notice.

Availability

We strive to maintain 99.9% uptime for the Service. However, the Service is provided on an "AS IS" and "AS AVAILABLE" basis. We are not liable for any downtime, data loss, or operational delays resulting from network issues, scheduled maintenance, or circumstances outside our reasonable control.

IP

Verifield retains all right, title, and interest in and to the Service, including all underlying software, technology, cryptographic methodologies, and intellectual property. The Verifield name, logos, and branding are trademarks of Verifield and may not be used without our prior written consent.

Termination

We may suspend or terminate your access to the Service immediately, without prior notice or liability, for any reason whatsoever, including without limitation if you breach these Terms. Upon termination, your right to use the Service will cease immediately, and we may delete your data in accordance with our Privacy Policy.

Disclaimers/Limitations

While Verifield provides verifiable metadata designed to act as proof of work, we do not guarantee the outcome of any disputes, audits, or legal proceedings involving your field evidence. In no event shall Verifield, its directors, employees, or partners be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages resulting from your use of the Service.

Changes

We reserve the right to modify or replace these Terms at any time. If a revision is material, we will provide at least 30 days' notice prior to any new terms taking effect. By continuing to access or use our Service after those revisions become effective, you agree to be bound by the revised terms.
