Use of Information
Verifield uses the collected data for various purposes:
- To provide and maintain our Service, including cryptographically verifying the authenticity of your field photos.
- To notify you about changes to our Service.

Account/Organization Data
If you use Verifield as part of an organization, your account administrator has access to your account data and any field evidence you capture while using the Service under that organization. The organization owns the data generated by its users.
Photos and Field Evidence
The core functionality of Verifield involves capturing photos with embedded, verifiable metadata (such as exact GPS coordinates and timestamps). This data is strictly used to provide proof of work and secure your job records. We do not use your private photos or field evidence for marketing purposes, nor do we train AI models on your private data without your explicit consent.
Sharing/Third Parties
We do not sell your personal data. We only share your information with trusted third-party service providers (such as secure cloud hosting and payment processors) who assist us in operating our Service. These third parties have access to your Personal Data only to perform these tasks on our behalf and are obligated not to disclose or use it for any other purpose. We may also disclose information if required by law.
Retention
We will retain your Personal Data and Field Evidence only for as long as is necessary for the purposes set out in this Privacy Policy. If you close your account, we will delete your data within our standard 30-day retention window, except where we are required to retain data to comply with our legal obligations.
Security
The security of your data is critical to our Service. We implement industry-standard encryption, secure cloud infrastructure, and strict access controls to protect your data in transit and at rest. However, no method of transmission over the Internet or electronic storage is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee its absolute security.

If you are an end-user within an organization, you must direct your data requests to your organization's administrator. If you are an independent user or organization owner, you can manage your data directly through your account settings or by contacting us.
